Physical Training is Draining

At St Pauls Carlingford there has been several incarnations of Fitness activities based around the passage 1 Timothy 4:8 which says

for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

The latest, aptly named Physical Training has been of great encouragement to all in attendance. The only drawback for me is that it starts roughly at 10pm, after Bible study. Once people have finished their training of jogging, push-ups, chin-ups and/or core strengthening exercises it’s 11 or later. We then sit down to share what we looked at in our respective bible studies, talk about issues that affect us as Christian men, and share prayer points before committing everything to God in prayer. We wrap up sometime between 12 and 1pm, leaving me between 4 and 5 hours sleep to battle through work the next day….
