Party Season

Already 2018 is looking like a party year for me with plenty of gigs/festivals syphoning $$ from my wallet. Here’s a preview of what my feet and ears are anticipating so far

elrow – Psychadelic Trip

I’ve never really heard of Elrow until my shoot with Jordan for Hot Import Nights x ZEN; she’s a dancer who has worked in Ibiza for a few seasons and mentioned that this crazy party was coming and worth checking out. Once I saw Nic Fanciulli was on the cards, it was pretty much decided; having wAFF from the Hot Creations stable

Electric Gardens Festival

Drawcards for me this year will be Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Henry Saiz, Fatboy Slim AKA Norman Cook, Armand Van Helden and MK.
Timetable management will be a tricky juggle.  Good to see the collaboration between touring companies come together on this one.
Hoping for some glorious weather, and gorgeous girls too.

James Zabiela – Balance Album Tour

One never to miss when he’s in town; the protege of DJ Sasha, is a magician behind the decks and effects

Dave Seaman & Tube + Berger

Dave has always been a DJ hero of mine ever since the good olde Global Underground series.  We even made the trip from Canberra to Melbourne to see him play 4 hours at The Goods Shed, in the now developed Docklands as the inspiration for his GU020 Boxed mix.  I can still remember having GU shaved into the back of my head, dancing into the early hours of the morning as he played Billie Jean (Bushwacka Remix) for a 3rd encore.
Still a little unsure if I will be able to make this gig, as I may have a shoot on.  We’ll have to see how the dates, times & locations line up.

The ever epic 5 piece group never cease to amaze and put on a killer show.
I discovered these guys care of Semi-Permanent, & Umeric who made this film clip for “Long White Cloud”

Tell No Tales

That’s a HUGE international line-up, but the killers for me are definitely Derrick Carter and Laurent Garnier.  Carter for his Chi-Town house, and Garnier purely for ‘The Man with the Red Face

Erick Morillo vs Roger Sanchez

How can you go wrong with these two heavy hitters?!?!
I have a whole bunch of Subliminal Records in my vinyl collection, and witnessed countless hours of both go nuts on marathon sets.  One by themself has been known to tire out a crowd, but both together is going to see the workforce thinned out for half a week.
If you want to part-take in the mayhem, I have a few extra tickets, so let me know ASAP before they go to the highest bidder.

Lane 8 – Little By Little Album Tour

Definitely excited for this tour.  His debut album “Rise” was filled with plenty of great tracks treading the line between mainstream and deep house genres.  Since then Lane 8 has started the label This Never Happened –  with the concept: remove all phones and cameras from the event, get back to connecting with the music and the people around you.
The new album “Little By Little” will be released on the 19th January, and the preview tracks No Captain & Atlas are amazing.
Again, I have a few extra tickets if anyone wants to come along and connect with the music & me.

Definitely looking like a great party season.  I’m looking forward to getting my beat riding on, and hopefully launching a little something something whilst I’m at it.  Stay tuned for more details!!
