Well this week has been a struggle with plenty of work to be done, and a few social downers as well.
So this week has been fairly quiet, I’m not too sure why that is though…
Well this week has been an interesting one… I’ve been dealing with the after-effects of the break in at church: trying to find some people to repair doors, and fix locks.
This week has been quite a restful week, however the weekend has ramped up to be quite a busy and stressful one.
Yet another late entry in the SunSum this week. I’ve been away again, this time down south at Port Hacking for the Mission Minded Network Conference.
So a bit of a late Sunday Summary from me this week. I’ve been away at our annual youth camp Awesome for the last 5 days.
Well this week has been a mysterious roller-coaster ride for me, that’s about the best I can describe it… One minute I’m up and enjoying life, and the next I’m overwhelmed and about ready to shed tears, or break things. The strange thing is that I’m not really sure why all of this is… I don’t think I used to be this way, or maybe it was such a torment on my life that I’ve blocked it out of my senses. Either way, I need to remember that sin is always crouching at my back, it’s desire being to rule over me, but Jesus has conquered sin and death!!!
This week has been a real marked improvement over the last few weeks, even month!!
This week has been fairly quiet due to Oxygen taking out the ministers for half the week. It did ramp up by the weekend, reminding me of the days when weekends were super busy and the work week was just ‘the grind‘.
The week just gone has been up and down, yet another that I have learnt from.
Monday seems so long ago… The Abel boys came in to work, doing some data entry and manipulation for a database we’re migrating to at church. I sat down with Gary and Bruce to look at the future of the office at St Paul’s as well. At night I caught up with Geoff. We headed off to Macquarie Centre for dinner and a movie: Cowboys and Aliens starring Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde. It was a pretty bad movie… There wasn’t a great deal of explanation, but then there was too much for the viewer to try and work things out themselves. After the movie we also got to have a good little chat in the carpark…
